Please
remember that we do need to maintain a reasonably low sound level during events.
This means that live music needs to be acoustic or “amplified acoustic”
(i.e., acoustic instruments amplified with microphones). We do not allow electric
guitars or electric bass guitars. Snare drums must use brushes, not sticks.
This list of musicians might fit the bill, providing they are willing to meet
our guidelines. The Denver Musicians Association (303-573-1717) maintains
a website that gives contact information for hundreds of additional local
musicians, many of which play acoustically. The address is dmamusic.org/referrals.
